Date Night Spots in Studio City

You swiped right. They swiped right. And now it’s time to get together for the first time. So where are the best date night spots in Studio City? The best romantic restaurants? We thought you’d never ask!

We’ll start off with Pace. Hidden away on Laurel Canyon, Pace (pronounced Patch-ay) is famous with celebs and locals. It’s a romantic hideaway filled with amazing food; from pizzas to pastas and more. We sampled the grilled salmon and wow, it’s just phenomenal! Just be sure to Lyft if you can - parking is non-existent.

Looking for another romantic restaurant in Studio City? Then head over to Black Market Liquor Bar. The ambience here spells out romance with it’s leather booths, candle-lit tables and overhanging bricks. It’s casual dining done with extra class! We recommend Black Market for it’s unbelievable selection of wine and beer – you might need a night here just to choose something from the menu! They also have weekly drink specials too – so head on over for a great night with a great date.

Firefly is another perfectly romantic restaurant in Studio City. Head on over to Ventura and look for an ivy-covered building and you’ll find it. Inside is a library-themed bar area that’s perfect for a cocktail or two (or three if you REALLY need some Dutch courage!). The patio here is probably one of the most romantic spaces in Studio City (probably all of Southern California!) and designed to make a real impression on you and your date. We sampled the Mushroom Papardelle and fell in love with both that AND our date!

A romantic shout out must also go to Asanebo. Sushi is one of our favorite foods – hopefully yours too – and Asanebo, on Ventura Blvd, is one of our favorite sushi restaurants. The ambience here is cooler than most other sushi joints and the food is perfection. Our favorite is the Omakase but there’s so much to choose from that it’s impossible to go wrong. Your date will love you for taking them here (unless they’re allergic to fish, in which case RUN!).

So many romantic restaurants and great spots for date nights in Studio City and all you need now is a date! Have fun!
